HubSpot is the deepest integration in ZenABM. You are in full control of the data and the parts we interact with. Once fully enabled, ZenABM pulls your deals, pipelines and lifecycle data in, which powers influenced revenue and automatic ABM stage tracking, and pushes LinkedIn engagement back out onto your HubSpot Companies.
What connecting unlocks
Influenced revenue
Tie deals and revenue back to the accounts your ads reached.
Smarter ABM stages
Build stage rules from lifecycle stages, deal stages, and custom properties.
Engagement in HubSpot
Push LinkedIn engagement onto your HubSpot companies, so sales sees it where they already work.
Start with Connecting HubSpot. This page covers the settings you'll tune afterwards.
Pulling data from HubSpot
Choose what ZenABM reads in and how it reads it:
- Pipelines and deal types: pick the ones your ABM program influences.
- Lifecycle stages and deal stages: map the stages you care about. These become the building blocks of your ABM stage rules.
Deals and lifecycle data refresh on a daily sync.
This is also where you define the influence threshold and time window ZenABM uses when attributing deals to ad engagement. It decides how much engagement counts, and how long after engaging an account can still be credited.
Sending data to HubSpot
ZenABM can also push LinkedIn Ads engagement into HubSpot as properties on the Company object. Turn on Sync analytics to HubSpot and pick exactly which fields you want.
Everything lands under a single ZenABM LinkedIn Metrics property group, and syncs once a week (Monday, midnight GMT).
The fields are grouped:
- Core fields cover identity and status: ABM stage, active ABM campaigns, LinkedIn intents, last sync date. These sync on every run unless you turn them off.
- Lifetime metrics cover lifetime impressions, clicks, engagements, spend, engagement score, and lifetime ABM stage.
- Active ABM campaign metrics cover aggregate impressions, clicks and engagements for currently-running ABM campaigns.
You can select which fields should be created and populated in your HubSpot Company records.
Company matching
For attribution to be accurate, ZenABM needs to know which of your companies maps to which HubSpot record. We use a five-step algorithm to match LinkedIn Company records to your HubSpot records:
- exact domain matching
- exact name matching
- HubSpot's LinkedIn Company URL field
- fuzzy domain matching
- fuzzy name matching
You can always adjust matching. We have a dedicated Matching page to review the matches, duplicates, and records we failed to find a good match for.
You can instruct ZenABM to create new Company records in your HubSpot. This requires an explicit opt-in. If we can't find a good match, we will create one.
Best practices
- Fix mismatches early. A few minutes reconciling company matches upfront saves you from misleading reports later.
- Map lifecycle and deal stages deliberately. These become the building blocks of your ABM stage rules, so choose stages that reflect real progress.
- Set a sensible influence window. Too short and you'll miss real influence; too long and you'll over-credit. Align it with your typical sales cycle.
- Don't sync every field back. Push the fields sales will act on. You can always add more.
